I even posted up on the black Magic forum and still havn't seen any response. I am about to give up again and just go with Manjaro if you no longer have any more suggestions. Fedora is supposed to be the best OS for DR on linux. I did a fresh install of Fedora (which wiped out my windows partition inadvertently because I was already so frustrated) and went through a long period of downloading all the required stuff. STILL didn't open and prompting it on the command line gave the same out put. So I figured to install the same package after some a brief google search and dnf installed it. That cured the problem and DR opened and seems to function correctly. I thought I had a picture or would remember the output but its something like libxcry.so.1.0: - So when I did this on Manjaro the correct files were installed from the AUR under libxcrypt-compat. Upon trying to open the program with "/opt/resolve/bin/resolve" the output shows that there is still a missing library. I'm just not too sure how appropriate it is to try and troubleshoot Davinci Resolve here even though you have been so kind before in the past to help.
